In the FileNext apps
Open Account, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account. Enter your password (accounts that sign in with Google or Telegram type DELETE instead) and confirm. This works in the Android, iPhone, iPad and Mac apps.
On the web
Sign in at filenext.in, go to Account and choose Delete account.
Without signing in
If you can’t sign in, send a privacy request or email support@filenext.in from the address on the account, with the subject “Delete my FileNext account”. We confirm that the request comes from the account owner, then delete it and reply when it’s done.
What is deleted
Deleting an account is permanent and can’t be undone. We delete straight away:
- your profile (name, email, password, sign-in links to Google or Telegram);
- every file and folder you own, including Trash, their covers and any unfinished uploads;
- your share links, which stop working for everyone.
Copies that other people saved to their own drives from your links are theirs and are not deleted.
What is kept, and for how long
- Payment, payout and Premium transaction records, for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Pending payouts are cancelled.
- Hashed view records, reports and moderation decisions, as described in the privacy policy.
- Deleted data can remain in backups for a limited period before it is overwritten.
If you have Premium
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription with Google Play or Apple. Cancel it first in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions) or in your Apple Account settings, so you aren’t charged again.
