The terms, without the fog.

How your account, files, earnings and payouts work, and what happens if the rules are broken.

Last updated Launch draft, pending legal review

About these terms

These terms are a launch draft and are still being reviewed by lawyers. They describe the rules for using FileNext today; the final version may change wording and add details, and the date above will change when it does.

By creating an account, on the web or by messaging the FileNext bot, you agree to these terms, the acceptable use policy, the copyright policy and the privacy policy. The operator of FileNext: legal entity to be stated before launch.

Who can use FileNext

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding agreement where you live. If you use FileNext for an organisation, you confirm you can act for it. You may not use FileNext if we have banned you, or if the law where you live forbids it.

Your account

Give accurate information and keep your password and your Telegram account secure, because both can reach your files and earnings. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.

A Telegram account is created by your first message to the bot. If you connect it to a web account, everything in it, including earnings, withdrawals and payout details, moves into the web account and the Telegram-only account is deleted.

Your files and your rights

You keep the rights you have in what you upload. You give us permission to store, copy, process and transmit your files only as needed to run FileNext for you: making previews and covers, serving share links, and handling reports.

Only upload and share what you own or have permission to share. You are responsible for your files and for what happens when you share them. Anyone with a share link can view and download the file, and turning a link off cannot recall copies already downloaded.

Keep your own backups. FileNext is not a guaranteed backup, and permanently deleted files cannot be recovered.

Storage and limits

Free accounts include 20 GB of storage, and single files can be up to 100 GB on the web. The Telegram bot accepts videos only. We may set other technical limits to protect the service. Paid plans are planned but not offered yet; nothing on our site is an offer to sell one.

Earnings

You can earn a USD amount for validated views and downloads of files you share. These rules apply:

  • Rates. We decide what each validated view or download earns. The amount varies from view to view and can change at any time; changes apply from the time they are made. The bot shows what your files have earned.
  • Validation. A view counts only when the viewer watched for 30 seconds, or half of a shorter video. Each device or account on the same IP is counted once per file per day, each IP has a daily cap, and your own views never count. Files that are removed and accounts that are not in good standing do not earn. We may change these checks to keep counting accurate.
  • Our records decide. Earnings are calculated from our own records, and our count is final unless it is clearly wrong.
  • Hold period. New earnings are held for 7 days, or another period we announce, before they can be withdrawn.
  • Invalid activity. Earnings from views or downloads that are faked, automated, bought, incentivised, self-generated or otherwise invalid are void and may be removed from your balance at any time, including after the hold period.
  • Not wages. Earnings are a reward for genuine audience activity. They do not make you our employee, agent or partner, and they are not a guaranteed income.

Withdrawals and payouts

  • You can withdraw once your available balance reaches the minimum, which is $5.00 by default and may change.
  • Payouts are sent to PayPal, USDT (TRC20 or BEP20) or UPI, using the details you saved in the bot. Check them carefully: we are not responsible for payments sent to details you entered incorrectly, and blockchain payments cannot be reversed.
  • A person on our team reviews every withdrawal and pays it manually. We may delay, reject or adjust a withdrawal that we reasonably believe involves invalid activity, an error or a breach of these terms, and we will tell you the reason in the bot.
  • Before paying, we may ask you to verify your identity, provide tax information (for example a W-8BEN form for creators outside the United States), or confirm a wallet address, and we may screen addresses against sanctions lists. We may hold a payout until these checks are complete.
  • You are responsible for any taxes on your earnings, and for any fees charged by your payment provider or network.

Rules and enforcement

You must follow the acceptable use policy. It bans, among other things, piracy, child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate content, violent and harmful content, malware, and faked traffic.

If you break these terms, we may remove files, disable links, stop or void earnings, reject withdrawals, suspend or ban your account, and report illegal activity to the authorities. Faking views or downloads, or helping someone else do it, leads to suspension and loss of the related earnings. When we remove a file, its link stops working and the bot tells you why. We may act without notice where needed to protect people or the service.

If you think we made a mistake, contact us. For copyright removals, use the counter-notice process in the copyright policy.

Closing your account

You can ask us to close your account at any time through a privacy request. Withdraw your available balance first. We may close or suspend accounts that break these terms, that have been inactive for a long period after notice, or when we stop offering the service. Earnings voided under these terms are not paid when an account closes.

Changes and availability

FileNext is a new service and will change. We may add, change or remove features, limits and rates. We work to keep it running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we may pause it for maintenance.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent the law allows, FileNext is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits. Any cap on our total liability will be set out in the final version: to be confirmed before launch. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under laws that cannot be excluded. The final version will set out the governing law and where disputes are heard: to be confirmed before launch.

Grievances and contact

Grievance Officer (India): To be appointed before launch. Their name, contact details and the hours they can be reached will be published here. Until then, send grievances to support@filenext.in with “Grievance” in the subject line.

We aim to acknowledge a grievance within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days, and to act on requests to remove content within the time limits the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 set, including 36 hours for takedowns.

For questions about these terms, email support@filenext.in. We will post changes here and, for material changes, tell you in the bot or by email before they take effect.
