Security

Private until you choose to share.

Your files stay private unless you create a link. Here is how we protect them, how reports are handled, and what we don't offer yet.

Safeguards

How your files are protected.

Practical safeguards built into storage, sharing and accounts.

Private by default.

New uploads are visible only to you. Nothing becomes public until you create a share link for it.

Signed links that expire.

Files are served through signed storage URLs that stop working after a few hours, so a copied download address goes stale.

Links you can turn off.

Turn off a share link and its page stops working for everyone who has it.

A report button on every share page.

Anyone viewing a shared file can flag it to our moderators from the page itself.

Checks on every paid view.

Watch time, device, IP, daily caps and ownership are checked on the server, and earnings are held 7 days before they can be withdrawn.

Account connections need both sides.

Linking Telegram to a web account uses a one-time link valid for 15 minutes. You sign in on the web and see what will move before anything does.

Reports

Reports get a ticket and an answer.

Report through any share page or the takedown bot. A moderator reviews every report and both sides hear the outcome.

  • Clear reasonsCopyright, child safety, non-consensual sexual content, violence, privacy, spam or other.
  • Complete copyright claimsThe rights holder's name, the original work, an email address and a good-faith statement.
  • A ticket for every reportReporters get a ticket number and can check its status in the takedown bot.
  • Removal with noticeThe link is disabled, the file stops earning, and the uploader is told why.
  • A 36-hour targetReports still open after 36 hours are flagged to the team.
Where we stand

What we don't claim.

Security pages are full of big words. Here is where FileNext actually stands today.

In place today

  • Files private until you share them
  • Signed, expiring storage URLs
  • Share links you can turn off
  • A report button on every share page
  • Server-side checks on paid views and a hold on earnings
  • One-time, 15-minute links for connecting Telegram

Not offered

  • End-to-end encryption. Our servers can read stored files. They need to, to make covers, previews and ZIP downloads.
  • Security certifications. We have no third-party audits or certifications to show yet, so we don't claim any.
  • Native apps. Apps for phones and desktops are planned, not available. Use the web app or the Telegram bot.
